Parent Resource Program

Objective: Utilizing educational resources and engaged interactions, build a community of parents who are transforming the way we communicate with ourselves, our loved ones, and our community, especially around the topic of substance use disorder.

Components:

  1. A ten-week interactive educational program focused around the principles of:
    • Understanding and practicing “Love and Acceptance
    • Defining and Implementing “Healthy Boundaries
    • Changing the conversation through “Healing through Listening
  2. Weekly customized content reflective of 100Pedals parenting principles. This will be distributed in the form of a weekly newsletter featuring talks, podcasts, blogs, presentations, e-books and articles.

How it works:

  • Subscribe to the 100Pedals’ Parent Resource Program.
  • Upon registration, you will receive a signed copy of “The Addicted Child.”
  • All subscribers will be invited to participate in a ninety-minute on-line group call which is broken into two key segments:
    • Growth and Discovery (60 minutes):
      • A presentation/discussion on one of the ten learning segments
      • Q&A follow-up specific to that week’s learning segment
    • Learning and Sharing (30 minutes):
      • A time to share or ask questions about personal challenges & issues
    • NOTE: These calls will be videotaped and shared to all subscribers. There will be a feature in this on-line chat room which will allow you to remain anonymous, should you desire this.
  • Subscribers will also receive a weekly “newsletter” from Dave Cooke featuring:
    • Pinpointed educational support content: articles, blogs, podcasts, videos, e-books, presentations
    • A link to the previous week’s on-line chat/group call.

Commitment:

  • $25 per month, or $250 annually.
  • Yes, you can find a support group for “free.” We understand that. This is different.
  • Our program is specifically designed for parents who feel stuck in their group and are looking for more.
  • It is 100Pedals’ objective to build a community of parents who are transforming the way we communicate with ourselves, our loved ones, and our community, especially around the topic of substance use disorder. This is a movement of change as we build an interactive, connected community that is changing the conversation!
